About Me

Graduated with honors in ‘94 with a degree in Finance from UT-Knoxville. Worked in retail banking for several years before realizing I wanted to specialize in residential mortgage financing. Helping people achieve their home ownership dreams is a serious high. Making sure that a client isn’t just a transaction, or just another “deal” is my driving force. I approach each customer from a long-term relationship viewpoint. I don’t push people, and sometimes will even encourage them to wait until they are truly ready to purchase or refinance, if it isn’t in their best interests right then. It is this attitude that sets me apart and draws customers to me months and years later, because they know it’s not about ME, it’s about THEM.

Areas of Expertise

I particularly love to work with first time home buyers and approach them with a “heart of a teacher.” I simplify the entire mortgage process for them by taking them through the basics and de-mystify the process by helping them understand more than most people who’ve bought 3 or more homes! It starts with assisting them through the credit score puzzle. It ends with sitting side by side with them at the closing, making certain everything goes smoothly on this very important day.
